Expression of interest form
Open or rolling call (on a phased basis) for expressions of interest in knowledge transfer programme to provide information, training and technical advice, guidance and mentoring to bioenergy business development and start-up enterprises, in the wider National Just Transition Fund Midlands Region. This programme will be rolled out on a phased basis. All applications for this assistance will be subject to a review and evaluation by the Irish Bioenergy Association. Whilst every effort will be made to support interested eligible parties, due to resource limitations, it may not be possible to accommodate all expressions of interest. This programme will be delivered in 2023.
Whilst this call remains open continually, the closing date for the next Phase is Friday the 10th May 2024. Closing dates for subsequent phases will be announced in due course depending on available places.
At the end of each phase closing date, the applications received by that date will be assessed.
One of the aims of the Midlands Bioenergy Development Project is to assist with the development of new green energy business, with a focus on farmers, entrepreneurs and start-up SME businesses in the National Just Transition Fund’s wider Midlands region.
The Midlands Bioenergy Development Project is being administered by the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA), supported by the National Just Transition Fund, covering the wider Midlands region of East Galway, North Tipperary, Kildare, Offaly, Laois, Roscommon, Longford, and Westmeath.
The National Just Transition Fund is administered by the Dept. of Environment, Climate and Communications for the Government of Ireland.
