The latest UN report on climate change spells out that bioenergy is essential for climate action in transport, being as important as electromobility.
The transport sector is Ireland’s largest source of energy related carbon emissions, it is growing and Ireland has yet to make real progress in tackling it.
This conference will look at the current energy mix in Irish transport, climate progress to date, prospects for a million EVs by 2030 and the vital role of bioenergy if Ireland is to reach its goal of 45-50% cuts in transport carbon emissions.
