The Wood Fuel Quality Assurance (WFQA) Scheme Group at IrBEA supports the development and promotion of quality assurance standards for wood fuels in Ireland. The group works with producers, suppliers and users to ensure wood fuels such as pellets and wood chips meet recognised quality and sustainability criteria. Through certification, guidance and industry collaboration, the WFQA Group helps build confidence in wood fuel supply, supports best practice and contributes to the growth of reliable and efficient biomass heating across Ireland.
